Wooden gazebo, made to measure

A wooden gazebo is a freestanding, open shelter at the heart of the garden: somewhere to eat, relax or entertain. We make it to measure in oak or Douglas fir, with heavy posts and mortise and tenon, half-lap and dovetail joints. Not a flat-pack or a tent, but a structure that stands for years.

Size and roof

A 3 x 3 metre gazebo is enough for a seating area. For a dining table for eight, allow 4 x 5 metres or more. The roof can be flat with an overhang or pitched.

Sides

Leave it open or add a wall or glass sliding door on the weather side. With an outdoor kitchen or a bar it becomes an outdoor room. More at freestanding veranda.
