Oak veranda with glass sliding doors

Glass sliding doors turn an open timber veranda into a garden room you can open up or close down with the weather. We supply the frame to measure in oak or Douglas fir, and the sliding glass doors fit between the posts, on one side, along the front or all the way round.

Why timber with glass

A heavy timber frame feels warmer than an aluminium system. The timber carries the roof and the glass keeps out wind and rain. Because we make to measure, we space the posts to suit the width of the doors.

Light from above

A solid roof with glazed sides can feel dark inside. A roof light solves that.

Planning

An enclosed veranda may be treated differently from an open one. See planning permission and check with your council if in doubt.
