Patio cover ideas
These are real projects from our customers, not stock photos. In 9 years we have built more than 200 verandas, garden buildings and pool houses in the Netherlands and Belgium, each one made to measure with traditional timber joints.

Classic is our luxury range: large, usually in oak, or in Douglas fir for a lower price. Modern means black coated Douglas fir with clean lines. Discount is a kit in a fixed size for a smaller budget.
How we build a patio cover
Classic and modern covers are always solid timber, with mortise and tenon, half lap and dovetail joints in the frame. Roof boarding, side walls, sliding panels or steel doors can be added afterwards. Every project is made to measure; the calculator only shows standard models as a starting point. Bespoke covers take about 8 weeks.
Ideas for your garden
- A freestanding cover as a seating area, see freestanding veranda.
- A pitched roof veranda against the house.
- A black veranda as a modern extension of your living space.
- A cover with a shed or with glass sliding doors, see veranda with shed and veranda with glass sliding doors.
All models are under verandas, and more projects are in timber frame inspiration. Not sure which timber to choose? Read oak or Douglas fir.
