Bespoke height needed? Let us know—custom low-profile or extra-tall screens are fully supported.
Premium Ipe Slats (2.1 x 5.0 cm profile dimensions) precision-grooved for invisible hidden fasteners.
Periodic oil treatment is strictly required to retain full product warranty coverage. It blocks dirt absorption, limits surface checking/cracks, and feeds the timber to minimize structural expansion. Order Specialist Timber Oil Directly →
Integrate our professional EPDM backing strip to construct a fully soundproof, weather-sealed perimeter. This establishes an elite, low-noise acoustic slatted fence barrier. The rich matte-black membrane perfectly accentuates the clean linear shadows without allowing any gaps to be peered through. Order EPDM Privacy Screen →
For EPDM privacy screens: Total fence length x 2 = required m² coverage (for single-sided board layouts).
We supply premium Ipe slats in multiple lengths (e.g., 1.20m, 1.50m, or 1.80m). Thanks to the **smart tongue & groove design**, the boards do not need to end precisely on a post layout.
For a highly stable perimeter structure, both interlocking board ends must be heavily clamped down at every transition:
✔ Double Fixation: Always place a clip on the top groove AND bottom groove at every single board joint to keep your lines perfectly level.
✔ Floating Joints: If a joint falls between post spans without a backing frame, still deploy both clips to secure the interlocking ends together.
✔ Tightly Wedge: Fully push each hidden clip into the groove channel to ensure a structurally uniform, flawless 5 mm gap.
Set your heavy-duty hardwood posts approximately 1.00 metre apart. Ensure that roughly 1/3 of the overall post length is anchored securely into the ground line. Always pull a builder's line to verify that the framework sits perfectly straight across your garden landscape.

⭐ Golden Contractor Tip: Immediately soak the sand/soil mix around the embedded timber post with water. This causes the earth to compact and settle rapidly, anchoring your structural posts securely straight away. Steps 2 & 3: Montage of the lamellen
The Foundation: Always work from the ground up. Your initial starting course of slats must be checked with a spirit level to be 100% perfectly horizontal.

Our modern slatted panels inherently shield your property from view thanks to the narrow 5 mm design clearances.
Staple our premium dark EPDM membrane onto your upright frame posts before attaching the timber slats. This creates a striking, rich matte-black backdrop, completely eliminating any possibility of through-vision while heavily increasing the natural color contrast of the luxury wood panels.
EPDM Sheet Quantity Formulation:
• Single-Sided Slats (1.80m or 2.00m heights): 2 x total length of fence = total required m².
• Double-Sided Slats: 4 x total length of fence = total required m².
Fix the premium slats to your side of the perimeter wall. Your adjacent neighbors can clad their respective side onto the same upright posts later on. Below you can see a technical profile detail of the rear structure on a single-sided slatted layout built without the optional EPDM lining fabric.

The Leverage Technique:
Please Note: Always drive each stainless screw in one continuous, smooth motion. Stopping halfway through with your impact driver significantly increases the risk of the screw heads snapping. Also, ensure your driver bit sits perfectly square and deep within the screw head before rotating, otherwise you will strip the drive bit or damage the screw head recess.
For optimum wood preservation and colour retention, you should treat the hardwood periodically during the first two years: Typically four times per year. Only apply treatment when the timber is completely dry and rain is not forecast. For best results, choose a dry, sunny day with temperatures of 15°C or higher, as this encourages the oil to absorb and dry efficiently into the wood fibers.
As soon as the initial satin finish changes into a dull, matt appearance, the protective oils on the surface of the timber have evaporated. Rule of thumb: **3 to 4 times a year** is usually sufficient. The wood absorbs the most material during the application of the very first layer; subsequent top-ups require roughly 50% less oil. The intensity of local sun exposure and rain conditions will ultimately dictate the necessary frequency.

This depends entirely on local elements and orientation (direct sunlight and rainfall exposure). On average, the rich tone starts to weather after 3 to 6 months. Within 1 to 2 years, the panels will transition completely into an even, elegant silver-grey facade.
Absolutely not. The silvery surface patina is a natural self-defence shield against intense UV exposure. The inner core of the dense Ipe timber remains rock-solid, fully retaining its incredible service life of 30 years or more.
However, regularly oiled hardwood is better defended against fine surface checks, hairline cracks, and structural twisting. Consider it like human skin: exposing it directly to hot sun and water without protection dries it out. Feeding the wood cells keeps the structure strong and resilient, preventing it from drying out.
Yes, you can easily restore it using a dedicated chemical 'Net-Trol' wood netter or timber cleaner/reviver. After scrubbing and rinsing, the natural deep brown heartwood tones resurface. To lock in this color profile, the timber must be sealed with specialist oil immediately after drying out.
Keep in mind that following the application of a timber reviver, you will still need to give the boards a light sanding. This requires a fair amount of labor; in our expert opinion, prevention through routine maintenance is far easier than restoration.
The fiber cells of A-grade Ipe are so incredibly dense and tightly packed that standard garden oils cannot penetrate them; they simply pool on the surface and turn sticky or gummy. Our premium hardwood oil is formulated with fine molecular penetrating properties that deep-feed the pores, preserving the natural luxurious timber tone without masking its organic pattern.
Treat the visible facade thoroughly during the first 2 years using this simple schedule:
Visual Check: Is the smooth silky sheen starting to change into a dull appearance? That tells you the protective oil boundary has evaporated and it is time for a refresh.
Use a manual pressure pump sprayer or trigger bottle to easily mist the treatment oil over the panels, then smooth it out uniformly using a clean cloth.

We only provide warranty if you have fulfilled all the warranty conditions. Do not use floor boards near a swimming pool that contains chlorine or salt water. Fixing materials are made of stainless steel (clips and screws) the chlorine and salt attack the stainless steel, causing corrosion. There is a greatly increased risk that the mounting clips and screws will corrode and break as a result. As a result, the wood is no longer clamped and will spontaneously start to work and deform. Read the warranty conditions carefully before purchasing. Every working day our showroom is open on appointment.
