Teak garden screen for patios, gardens and roof terraces

In short: a teak garden screen is a short run of teak slatted fencing on its own: a few metres of slats on Azobé posts beside the patio or around a seating area. It is built exactly like our teak fencing, with hidden clips and a 5 mm gap. From about £300 per metre, available from November 2026.

Where a teak screen works

  • Beside the patio, as a windbreak or for privacy from the neighbours.
  • Around a lounge or outdoor kitchen, to give it its own space.
  • In front of bins or a shed, to hide them.
  • On a roof terrace or balcony, against a wall or on posts. Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will help you work out the fixing.

A screen does not have to be tall. Beside a patio, 1.2 to 1.8 m is often enough to sit out of the wind and out of view. You choose the height when you order and the length by the number of metres. Prices follow the exchange rate, so the basket shows the exact amount.

Why teak for a garden screen

Teak is light in colour and in weight, about 670 kg/m³. It moves very little, so slim slats stay straight and the gaps stay even. Outdoors teak turns silver grey; oil keeps it golden. See teak fence care for how, and teak garden gates for a gate in the same timber.

Teak garden screen FAQs

Can I get a teak sample?

Yes. Request a free sample and choose the 5, 7 or 9 cm teak slats, so you can see and feel the teak before you order. Samples go out as soon as the teak arrives in November 2026.

Can I order a teak screen by the metre?

Yes, by the metre, complete with Azobé posts, clips and screws. Work out what you need with the fence calculator.

When will it be delivered?

The teak arrives in November 2026. Order now and we will deliver as soon as it is in.

Is a screen the same as a fence?

It is built the same way. A screen is a short freestanding wall in the garden, a fence runs along the boundary. For a full boundary, see teak fencing.
