We are very pleased with the steel door with side panel that we installed with a friend. We chose a Pivot steel door because it opens on both sides, which is ideal for our hallway. First, the side panel was secured to the wall, floor and ceiling. We then installed the door by drilling pivot hinges into the floor and ceiling. We used the shims supplied to raise the door slightly so that the horizontal beams are level throughout. We think the end result looks great.
