Hardwood Beams

The hardwood beam is the solid base for building any construction. For example, it can be used for building a decking, a roof or for scaffolding.

Mounting

For these beams, pre-drilling with a countersink is necessary. You screw the screw through the hardwood beam. The head of the screw is on the surface of the beam. Please note that only one type of screw is suitable for this wood. We have the right type of screws that have enough power to keep the hardwood beam firmly in place.

The right screws for the job

We recommend using our strong and special hardwood screws. In addition, you should choose a metal-coloured or black-coated screw. A dark black screw is less conspicuous and gives a more beautiful end result.

Our screws are tested to be strong enough to hold the hardwood in place. Certainly not all types of screws are strong enough to withstand these forces. That is why we advise you to buy our screws with them, so you have a GUARANTEE of success. Our screws will not rust or oxidise.

Hardwood foundation

These hardwood beams create a good foundation. If you are using these beams as an underlay under a decking, we recommend that the distance between the beams should not exceed 40 cm. For every square metre of decking, we recommend using 3 hardwood foundation posts. You can make anything with these hardwood beams.
