A teak table is often dark brown, and has a very distinct crack color that is lighter than the rest of the table. This makes the edge of the table stand out more from the rest. Our wood has a more even structure and the color of the edge of the table, the crack, is therefore less different from the rest. Of course, taste is different, not everyone likes the same thing.

Teak comes from Indonesia, the stem thickness of a hardwood tree in this country is less than the stem thickness of Brazilian hardwood. We think a table should be at least 90 cm wide and we want to offer a maximum length of 8 meters. This is hardly possible in Teakwood. A steel door also goes well with a tree trunk table.
