"Brilliant Refit: Our old concrete fence is now a luxury hardwood wall!"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"After years of looking at a standard timber-and-concrete fence, we wanted a fresh, modern look. The Refit solution was perfect for us as the original concrete posts could stay in place! We simply clad the old fence with premium 9 cm wide hardwood boards. Following the expert's tip, we painted the posts and backboards black first, which creates a stunning modern depth behind the slats. All necessary materials were included in the kit. Our garden has had a complete high-end makeover!"
Several sections of fence installed with planks of Ipe wood, 7 cm wide. These planks can be attached to the posts with clips, so no screws are visible. I also made a gate with the same planks. The decking boards can also be connected to this.
We ordered a modern gate and fence at Hardwood Discount. This was a custom project, where they informed us well and delivered sufficiently. The next project with decking boards is already on order.
Hereby 2 pictures of our new fence. We have put it down with the two of us. We attached a long batten to the 90 cm wall using hammer fix plugs, and then mounted uprights on U-shaped galvanized holders. Against these uprights we screwed the hardwood planks we bought from you to the garden side and to the side of the communal path. To finish off, we put the inside uprights on the same U-shaped steel holders, which are secured in the foundation of the wall and still screwed to the wall itself. These uprights are mounted to the fence and posts through and through again. The whole structure stands like a house now, all A-B-C-D-E etc. storms are welcome.
