Stoneware price

What are stone partitions? Wooden blocks are made for the concrete industry for the production of concrete clinkers. Wooden bulkheads are used to cool the newly fired concrete on these bulkheads. Different factories order new partitions in the size they require. Therefore, the dimensions of new partitions are often different, so our offer and the size, but also the partition price can vary per batch. We buy all used bulkheads from many factories. We receive new deliveries every week, we strive to keep the bulkhead price as low as possible.

PARTITIONS PRICE

The bulkhead price is determined by the type of wood used. What are bulkheads? They are wooden panels which are held together with steel threaded rods and are connected at the sides with steel U-profiles. This creates a square deck on which recently fired bricks can cool down.

HIGH-QUALITY CHEAP STONE PARTITIONS

Hardwood Discount delivers high-quality cheap stone partitions. The wooden bulkheads price is also determined by the size of the bulkhead. The larger the wooden bulkhead is the higher the price, the smaller you buy the wooden bulkheads the lower the price per bulkhead. Cheap fences are the smallest size fences. New bulkheads are not sold, they are always used bulkheads. Hardwood bulkheads are the most expensive, this is because the type of wood determines the price. Hardwood bulkheads are much more expensive than cheap pine or larch bulkheads.

HARDWOOD BULKHEADS

Hardwood bulkheads are the most difficult to obtain. This is because hardwood bulkheads last the longest and are the most expensive to buy for a concrete factory. Hardwood bulkheads are very durable and made from hardwearing tropical wood, which also means that this type of bulkhead does not wear out quickly. Concrete factories that want very durable bulkheads for long use choose tropical hardwood Azobe. The price of paving slabs is variable and depends strongly on the production of the concrete factories. If they have a lot of production, they consume a lot of bulkheads. The price of paving slabs is therefore not subject to supply.

WOOD CHOICE

Solid partitions can be made of spruce, larch or tropical hardwood Azobe. The choice of wood is determined by its durability. The European Larch wood species is often used for bulkheads that are intended for medium-long term use. A bulkhead that has to last for a shorter period of time is chosen from spruce.

THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF WOOD

You can therefore buy three different types of bulkheads. We recommend that you buy bulkheads in larch or pine. These are high-quality bulkheads with a beautiful vintage look. Buying bulkheads in hardwood has a few disadvantages. Hardwood is very heavy and a bulkhead has a dimension of at least 1 square metre. The weight of a bulkhead becomes very hear due to the specific mass of tropical hardwood. In addition, the weight of a bulkhead in hardwood is quickly 65 kilograms. While the weight of spruce bulkheads is approximately 20 kilograms. The price is also not in your favour with hardwood rock partitions. This is approximately three times higher than the price of a spruce bulkhead. Furthermore, the vintage look of hardwood is different to that of spruce or larch. These types of wood have a more open structure and absorb dirt more quickly. Tropical hardwood does not do this so quickly, so a pine or larch bulkhead has a nicer vintage look.

CONSTRUCTION OF STONE PARTITIONS

Each plank of a bulkhead is made up of several panels. These are made up of separate hardwood planks or pine or larch planks, which fit together with mortise and tenon joints. Sometimes these parts of the stone partitions are placed cold against each other by means of a press. All these boards are tied together with iron rods that are drilled right through the panel of the bulkhead. A nut is tightened on both sides. In this way, the wood can no longer separate; the threaded rods lock the wood together. The two ends of the partition are reinforced over the entire width with a metal U-profile. You can saw the partitions, but then you must take into account the steel U-profiles and the metal threaded rods that are processed in the boards. So, stone partitions can be sawn, but you must first dismantle the partition before you start sawing the stone partitions.

WEATHERED OLD LOOK

The weathered old look of the rocks is caused by the deposition of cement on the wood and the heat during drying. The friction with the moulds and the concrete blocks, and the use of oil residues also make the rocks look vintage. The application of stone partitions is very diverse. Indoors, stone partitions are used in floors, as tabletops for tree-trunk tables, doors or as wall covering. Outside, stone partitions are often used for floors, outside walls, fences and revetments. Whether you use the stone partitions for an outdoor or indoor application, this is not subject to the fixed low price at Hardwood Discount.
