Fixing materials are made of stainless steel (clips and screws) the chlorine and salt attack the stainless steel, causing corrosion. There is a greatly increased risk that the mounting clips and screws will corrode and break as a result. As a result, the wood is no longer clamped and will spontaneously start to work and deform.
