"Finally a sleek terrace without gaps" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

I chose the Ipé boards with tongue and groove all around, and it was the best decision. The end-matched connection made it very easy to lay in a random pattern without the ends lifting. Everything clicks together beautifully, and because I ensured the joints always land on a joist, the terrace feels as solid as an indoor floor. Not a screw in sight!

"Minimal waste, maximum result" ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5

What a top-tier system. Because the boards interlock at the ends, I had almost zero waste. The offcut from one row became the start of the next. It takes some careful measuring to make sure the joint hits the joist perfectly, but once it's in place, nothing shifts. Ipé is incredibly hard, so pre-drilling is a must.

"Stunning outdoor parquet effect" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

Our deck looks like a luxury parquet floor. The tongue and groove on the short sides ensures the boards align perfectly. We laid them in a random pattern, and the clips are hidden neatly in the side grooves. Having the end joints resting firmly on the joists provides a very safe and stable feel when walking on it.

"Tough job, but absolutely worth it" ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5

Ipé is beautiful wood but very heavy. The click system on the ends works great for getting the boards perfectly straight. I set the joists at 40cm intervals so every end connection has full support. The random pattern result looks very natural and showcases the wood's colour variations perfectly.

Our Tip: Always ensure that the board joints land directly on a joist. This prevents the lines between the joints from shifting and keeps them straight over the long term. There is no need to use double clips at the joint; one clip on either side is sufficient. Feel free to choose your own laying pattern (random bond).
